Cyntia Botello is an interdisciplinary artist working with dance, choreography and filmmaking. Her dance films have been shown at international dance film festivals in Europe, Asia and America. Currently Cyntia is studying a Master Programme in Contemporary Dance Didactics at the School of Dance and Circus in Stockholm. She also works as a dance educator at Kulturama and Balettakademien in Stockholm and leads different cultural projects for asylum seekers and new arrivals in Tranås. Cyntia is interested in cross borders projects with other artists and collaborators.
 
Cyntia Botello is the director of ScreenDance Festival, a yearly dance film festival in Stockholm supported by Stockholm stad and in collaboration with Dansmuseet.
Cyntia has been granted a work space 2016-2018 at SITE, a production house for artists and producers in Stockholm, a kind of incubator for producers to develop their abilities in a professional context.
