Hakan Vreskala composes the soundtrack of the resistant nature of Istanbul. Being a multi-instrumentalist and singing in multiple languages, Hakan hails from Izmir Turkey and has been based in Stockholm for a decade. He combines his music with Activism. His music, as well as the flash mobs he has organized, have become the muse and source of motivation for the Peaceful Protesters during Gezi Uprising, 2013. Besides teaching Music, since the release of his first solo album, Hakan Vreskala toured non-stop all the way from Brasil to Germany, Austria, France, England, Scandinavia, Canada, Turkey and met all people who have found themselves in his lyrics and vibes.
