İbrahim Karcı is an independent freelance journalist and film-maker who has been covering various stories in different regions of the world, followed and observed conflicts and grassroots movements in the Middle East, South East Asia, and Europe. His work has made him a part of international media teams from CNN, AP, TIME, TVE, BILD. He is currently based in Germany, conducting Gender and Diversity studies and one of the co-founders of Kopuntu as well as managing partner of Karakedi Kültür Merkezi. His background is not just confined to news, he directs and produces documentaries in addition to having experience with TV, short and feature films.
