Re-cycle is a three-week arts programme based on the idea of recycling found objects into new works of art, bringing new value to discarded belongings and bringing contemporary arts more accessible to public spaces and people.
 
We have invited Laura Bianco (Italy) , Sabine Salem (Egypt) and Baxx (Serbia), three visual artists who shall be collaborating with second hand shops in Tranås. They will give new life to found objects in these local shops.
Visual artist Laura Blanco shall bring life to old family photographs through the use of digital GIFs. Sabine a fashion designer shall create womens dresses for RTW Collection from non-traditional materials that promote recycling. Visual artist Baxx Vladimir shall revive discarded paintings and prints using tradtional repair techinques while adding comptemporary character and motives to found artworks.
